About Finton
We want to make money easier to understand
Personal finance is spread across banks, cards, subscriptions, loans and payment services. The problem is rarely a lack of will – it is that the full picture is hard to see.
Finton gathers your finances in one place, analyses the transactions and helps you understand what is happening, what could become a problem and which steps can improve the situation. Before small problems have time to grow large.
Why Finton exists
Mission
To make personal finance easier to understand and easier to improve.
Vision
A future where more people spot financial risks in time and feel in control of their money.
Finton is more than a budget app. You connect your bank accounts, get transactions analysed and help spotting costs, patterns and risks – without us being able to move money or make payments.
From comparisons to your own finances
Haveton started by making financial products easier to understand. With Finton the company also wants to make people’s own finances easier to understand.
First Finansvalp
Help comparing financial products
Haveton built Finansvalp to help people understand and compare loans, savings, credit cards and other financial services. Finansvalp was started in 2021 and is owned by Haveton AB.
Then the insight
Information is not always enough
Financial information is not always enough. People also need help understanding their own finances – habits, patterns and what they can actually do next. That became the company’s driving force.
That’s why Finton
From products to your own finances
Finton connects bank data, automated analysis and clear next steps in a simple app. The app launched widely in 2026 as Haveton’s next step: from comparing financial products to understanding your own finances.
Haveton AB was registered in 2022 and runs Finansvalp in Sweden as well as equivalent personal-finance sites in Norway, Spain and Germany. Org. no. 559380-3603 · Fleminggatan 7, Stockholm.
Who is behind Finton
Olle Pettersson
Olle is founder and CEO of Haveton AB and creator of Finton and Finansvalp. He holds a BSc in Business and Economics from Halmstad University and has more than twelve years of editorial experience. He previously sat in the management team and as Chief Product Officer in the media group Caybon.
The combination of economics, journalism and product development led to Finton – a service that does not only show numbers, but helps you understand what they mean.

How we think
Security from the start
The bank connection uses Open Banking and BankID. You choose which accounts are connected, and Finton only has read access – the app cannot make payments or move money.
Your finances belong to you
You can request access, correction and deletion, and account data is processed to deliver the service.
Clarity
We explain how the service works, which partners we use and how data is processed – in language ordinary people understand.
Help without lecturing
Finton provides insights and decision support, not personal financial advice. We do not judge your habits – we help you see patterns and understand what you can do next.
